This was a great tour!, led by Justin.
I got a lesson in NY/Brooklyn history. Born/broughtup Boston my history teacher didnt teach much about Fort Hamilton or Fort Lafayette. I'd recommend to anyone. See pix attached. -

(October 8, 2019, 6:23 pm)Nice free museum run by volunteers with lots of knowledge about the history of Fort Hamilton and the United States. The volunteers are friendly and will answer whatever questions you have as they guide you through the museum. You must be aware that it is on an active military installation and you must have ID to get on the base. Foreign Nationals interested in visiting should call ahead to ascertain what they need in terms of ID to get on base.
