H&D Physical Therapy - Park Slope

Liv and the rest of the team at the Park Slope location were absolutely amazing.
I started going two weeks post-op to get my foot moving again, and over the course of eight weeks transformed from gingerly walking with a cane and a surgical boot and physically cringing at having someone come close to touching near the scar site, all the way to walking miles and miles each day in a regular sneaker, 100% pain free. Liv and Grace helped me strengthen my foot and leg and taught me exercises to help with balance that might stave off future injury.
They were easy to make appointments with, seamless when it came to insurance claims, and really pleasant company during the sessions.
Based on my experience, I encouraged my surgeon to recommend other patients to the office too.

My H&D experiences has been the best physical therapy experience i've had!! I started seeing Livia Li a few months ago for chronic foot pain. She really helped address the cause of the pain (which several doctors hadn't been able to do prior) and to limit the pain through stretches/strength building/etc. I'm now able to move around without foot pain!

Excellent one- on -one hands on therapy in Park Slope from highly qualified attentive physical therapists. They are all good at analyzing weak spots and tailoring exercises to do at home to target particular areas. I have mostly worked with Dr. Livia Li but I've had some sessions with Dr. Grace Taylor and Dr Steven Kofsky. All are excellent. Each has a slightly different perspective that is very helpful.

I had a wonderful experience working with Guia Sheker. She was thorough in not only troubleshooting the source of pain, but also dug into contributing factors (from office chairs to footwear). She tailored my therapy to key activities that bring me joy (meditation and skateboarding) After two months of therapy, the intense knee pain I experienced for the better part of 2022 is non-existent. Highly recommended!

Prior to coming to H&D, I was in physical therapy for a year at one of the larger, more well known practices with little progress. From the first appointment with Livia I have seen such a difference in my back pain, retraining my body and maintaining the progress. I love the focus on one to one appointments and the hands on treatment! I cannot recommend this practice enough!!
