I highly recommend Ira Wahrman. I contacted him primarily for hip pain due to tendonitis and arthritis. He did a thorough evaluation of my health before starting treatment. He is now also treating me for back pain, gynecological and thyroid issues with acupuncture, Chinese herbs and other alternative therapies. I have seen a lot of change in how I feel and for the better - energy, mobility, appetite and diminished pain. Ira is very attentive and patient practitioner, willing to answer any questions I have and always asking how I feel. I expect more good things to come with ongoing treatment.

After doing a thorough search for an acupuncturist in the area that takes my insurance I came upon Ira. From the first phone call he seemed sincere, caring and willing to help me. His office is nice, quiet and very clean. I am going to acupuncture for a couple of reasons: chronic pelvic pain and assistance to prepare my body for fertility treatments. After a few sessions with Ira my pelvic pain has already shown improvement as has my sleep (which was not good.) What I like most about Ira is his variety of Eastern treatments, not just acupuncture, which have already proven to be helpful. He also offers herbs for those who can take. I highly recommend!
