(September 28, 2021, 7:27 pm)Was fairly quiet while here. I did take the path alongside the pond and about halfway into the path, it was very overgrown and unpassable. The actual pond is very nice and was populated with seagulls, cormorants and egrets, late in the afternoon. Across the road is Manhasset Bay. I took pictures of the maps available to the public. The parking area isn't very big and signs state that it closes and sunset.

(December 15, 2017, 12:41 pm)Beautiful waterfront area great for a walk, sandbar and a few Osprey nests. This is a gem of a picturesque setting. Park your card at the nearby LI Science Museum.

Perfect to visit from kayak.
Fantastic view of the Harbor with a great view of the sunset.
