Incredibly convenient storage locker facility! Purchased a room onlin and received my access code within minutes. Highly recommend

We've had a very positive experience with our Local Locker Storage in Brooklyn. We originally used the website to rent one of the units, however, when we went to the unit, there was a cement post in the unit that cut into the storage space significantly. When we contacted Local Locker to let them know, they made it very easy to rent a new space, even providing the links to specific spaces and quickly processing a refund for my original rental.

As for the interface on the website, it's incredibly easy to use, and you can look at, compare, and rent a local locker within minutes. You then receive the email with the access information very shortly thereafter.

I would recommend Local Locker Storage to others for the customer service alone, but the product is also solid and takes into consideration other factors (like weather) and safety.

Whole experience has been super easy! Very easy and flexible to book a walk thru to see the units and also too book the locker you want. It's a bit empty down there, but once you get over that, stuff is safe and secure. I got a 4x4.5x8 and it's basically huge closet that has plenty of space for my goods, making my teeny apt feel way less cramped.

Having recently moved to the area, it's been an incredibly seamless experience working with Local Locker Storage (I also thought it was shady-looking at first, but they're wildly friendly). From my experience, there's no in-person experience to acquire the locker. I did it all over the phone.

There were several locations available in my area, and having visited these various locations, each had a sign with a phone number/QR code to help start the process. I chose to do mine over the phone, to which I was walked through the process. They will provide notice of the lockers available, then once you've chosen the locker, they will ask for your card information over the phone.

As of writing this review, if you visit their website and linger long enough on the page, a pop-up will appear that can provide 10% off your first purchase by giving your e-mail and, if I remember correctly, the first OR second month is free if you set up a locker within a certain timeframe or duration. Just be sure to remember your promo code, as they will ask for that over the phone as well.

The person who helped set me up over the phone was friendly and made the process really, really easy. Once they've processed the payment over the phone, they send over an email with directions of how to access the warehouse, as well directions to locate the locker you purchased (because each warehouse has a different layout). What I thought was the BEST part was that they stay on the phone with you until you receive those emails with directions, which is fantastic, because I personally would hate to hang up, see the email's not there, and then they make off with my money.

(Plus, calling back doesn't always guarantee that you'll get the same representative you were just speaking to.)

Would definitely recommend this to a friend if they needed a place to lock things up. Once you receive the email directions, you have discretion of when you'd like to access your locker.

TL;DR: Find a location, look for their physical sign (or visit their website), check website (via QR code)/call for locker availability, give promo code (if applicable), give card info, and you'll get directions on how to have full access to your locker. All set.

Very 21st century. No hidden fees, no bureaucracy. Unlike other storages I've used before, where it's $50 first month and then it's suddenly $140, in Local Locker I pay $50 and not a cent more. The storage is brand new, close to my house, clean, 4 digit code access and most importantly direct line with Chantel, the property manager, she asked all my questions and always very friendly. Recommend to anyone!
