(June 9, 2023, 9:31 pm)I met Dr. Omar Wain at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital on February 29, 2023 when I woke up from the CCU after being intubated for 14 days. I had Sepsis. While on the ventilator my lungs collapsed, I had pneumonia and other complications. I was practically dead. I serve a living God who brought me back to life. It was not expected but it happened with the constant prayers of family and friends.
Dr. Wain saved my life, and I am grateful to him. He worked hard and gave his all. He is competent, efficient, professional and kind. I was released from the hospital and went home. Three months later, Dr. Wain performed a surgery at Mercy Hospital to remove my gallbladder and an umbilical hernia. Everything went well and I am recuperating and on the road to a full recovery. I thank Dr. Wain for a job well done. He calls me “The Miracle Man” because he knows it’s true and I believe it as well.
