I haven’t found a time this is open, but I come weekly to drop off compost. It looks pretty magical from the outside. I’m glad they have this compost program!

Maggie’s Magical Garden is a beautiful oasis surrounded by apartments and traffic located between 100th & 101st Street. They welcome volunteers to help cultivate vegetables, fruit and flowers. A caring and incredibly talented woman, Maggie established t thus garden over thirty years ago and it’s become a treasured landmark for the entire East Side of. Manhattan!

Fantastic community garden. Maggie gave us a fantastic tour of all the veggies, spices and fruit she grows. She even gave us a taste of the organic spinach she grows.
