Victor was my therapist for five years. I had a great deal of personal trauma and serious mental health issues to deal with. I can say that Victor saved me. His approach was direct, firm, no-nonsense and, at the same time, unconditionally caring and supportive. I'd been in therapy with other practitioners before Victor, but my mental health was declining. not improving. Victor immediately created a "team" that entailed a psychiatric nurse-practitioner (also amazing) and himself, with me getting the tremendous benefit from this approach. He checked in regularly with the NP to make sure my meds were right, and he found ways of getting through decades of defenses. He was and remains my hero.
