It is an old-world as well as modern shop where service is at its best. The company makes well constructed shoes paying attention to details to make the shoe as perfect as possible.
Its other very important asset are its staff: they are the company's best ambassadors! They advice customers as to the best shoe for them, if requested, they explain the fit to you. They are professional incedibly patient.
Jose with whom I dealt yesterday and Owen and Yessim with whom I have dealt at other occasions have been excellent. They are the reason I leave with shoes that I purchase and wear and love afterwards.

I was very much impressed with the quality of service of this store. Both Yassine and Quon were helpful, patient, and eager to please, which really makes the difference when trying to find shoes that will meet one's specifications. Indeed, Mephisto shoes are by far superior to most other brands. The company shows utmost integrity in crafting a shoe from fine materials, and creating a comfortable and supportive last. The design and fit are exceptional. I have lived long enough to know the difference. My mother, who passed away a number of years ago, always stressed the importance of well fitting, quality shoes. She emphasized the importance of the investment in shoes even if they were higher in price than poorer quality competing products. I therefore know how to recognize quality shoes. Mephisto certainly cuts the grade! I am hoping to wear these shoes with confidence and ease for a long time to come!

Very hard to find shoes still made in Europe. This company has high quality shoes. Owen is Great! I couldn’t physically be in the store to try on the shoes so Owen gave me some insight on sizing and I was able to order over the phone with him. Owen takes pride in his job and knows his skill. Owen takes care of you like the shoe salesman did in the 60s & 70s. I will return for more shoes shortly. I only want Owen to assist me. Yassine is also awesome. You can’t go wrong ordering from this particular store. The two sales clerks exert Professionalism to the max!

Incredibly nice management and staff that is always willing to go the extra mile to do right by their customers. I bought many shoes from this location and vastly prefer them to the other mephisto outlets in New York City.
