Tip Top Shoes is a true Upper West Side gem. Exceptional service from Mr. Harold Dominicci. He guided me in finding fashionable and comfortable shoes. Much appreciated! Wonderful selection and variety at this fine store.

Excellent place. Many staff, so no wait. Huge choice, and staff very helpful in trying out different footwear. And the prices better than online for the Birkenstocks I bought.

So for my birthday my husband and I spent 10 amazing days in New York. We were initially drawn to the area for a particular eatery. Afterwards made a spontaneous stop to shop for shoes at Tip Top. Let me first state how impressed we were with the quality of shoes and styles. My husband and I both have quite a collection of shoes and honestly didn't need to add any more. The service we received from Mr. Harold was "tip top"! We appreciate the personal touch service of a shoe salesman that has long been obsolete in shoe stores today. Mr. Harold is not only personable but well knowledgeable about any shoes that interest us, as well, his genuine passion for his work and infectious joy was contagious! We could have well spent the rest of our day with him! Mr. Harold because not only did he go above and beyond to help us with our shoe selections, in his own very pecial way he made us feel like 'family'. Thank you Tip Top Shoes and Mr. Harold for being such a memorable part of out trip! We love you and sending you our best from afar! Be very well Sir! Salute to your 32 years of service!

I was at Tip Top Shoes on Monday April 24th with a friend who ended up purchasing a pair of Mephisto sneakers. I tried on some casual shoes that fit well and made my size 10 feet look small. The woman with black hair waited on me. She measured both my feet. I have a bunion on right foot. Brought out one pair but didn't fit well. The second pair was better. She was professional and personable! I decided not to purchase in the end but she was never pushy and I appreciated that. I have shopped here before but the customer service was good! My friend had never been to this store before and liked her experience! I will return!

Unfortunately I had been pleased with Tip top. Had placed one order and all went well, however my 2nd order was shipped and labeled correctly as a pair of Black/White trim Oncloud. When received, the shoes were actually navy blue with a package slip stating black/white. I have reached out three times with a guarantee of a return call and still no response regarding the issue. I guess I’ll just have to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges. Very disappointed.

Please let me state that after this incident I was contacted by Lester with Tip Top Shoes and was very pleased with the personal attention given to this situation. They sent out the correct shoes 2-Day and my daughter in-law was able to get her new On Cloud Shoes before Christmas.
