(May 12, 2023, 3:47 am)I’m surprised regarding the reviews here. I went on Wednesday (5/10/2023) to get my non drivers ID here for the first time. Once I got here the wait process for everything wasn’t too bad. I was called quickly to get my picture taken and then sat back down to wait again to see the cashier. You will be asked to show proofs (recommendation for proofs can be found on the DMV website), show your prefilled application (I suggest printing one out from the DMV website to make it easier/faster service upon visit) and then you pay for how long you want the ID (you can choose to pay for 4 year / 8 year expiration on the ID) at the end. I got everything done in less than half an hour there. I’m unsure for getting your license / permit there but overall I had the best experience there. Staff was very attentive, helpful and friendly so didn’t have issues on that part as other comments claimed here. I also had my appointment scheduled in the afternoon so I don’t know why people are claiming to go early when I managed to get everything done fast and efficiently during afternoon hours.
