NH 44 Indian

Somehow I can't tolerate the spices on Indian food so I always order the very boring chicken tandoori. At NH4 , the waiter recommended Bhuna Murgh Mirchwala to me and it was a great decision as I enjoyed it so much . Of course, Indian food will not be amazing without the garlic naan. Even my husband's tikka masala and saag paneer were excellent than our favorite restaurant close to home. This restaurant was cozy and servers were attentive and very accommodating . Their sangria... yes sangria in an Indian restaurant... was delicious. Highly recommended and we will return when in the area.

I went to this place last night and LOVED it. My husband and I shared the samosas, chapli kebab, murgh malai tikka and punjabi gosht. Oh! And gulab jamun for dessert! Everything tasted amazing and fresh. We also had an amazing waiter, Jetto, please give this guy a raise, such great service and suggestions. All of that came out to approximately $110 ish counting the two beers my husband had.

This is some of the best Indian food I’ve had in a while. And I’ve had a lot of Indian food. It’s fresh, full of flavor and not your typical standard Indian menu.

Surprisingly good Indian place that's nestled in the midst of all shops on the busy East Hartsdale Avenue Street.
The place looks unassuming from the outside but on the inside has a whole different ambience to it.
This ambience also comes with good food err tasty food
We tried their Madras coffee, Chapli Kebab and Kozhi Chettinad with Garlic Naan and all of them were top notch to say the least. And ended it with a mango Lassi.
My Fav was definitely the Madras coffee which came in a small glass that left me desiring for more 😅
Definitely a place to visit in person for it's unique ambience, energetic servers and good food 👍
Parking might be tough but there's a parking garage nearby which offers free parking on levels 4 and 5 on the weekends.
