This shop is for enthusiasts with petrol in their veins, and for people who don’t know they’re into cars yet.

Frank, the owner of NoName, is the only person within 600 miles of New York City that I will let work on my cars. He has a gift and an unbridled passion for anything running on gasoline, especially if it’s vintage or German (or both!). He’s talented as hell, hardworking, and always goes way above and beyond what other shops do.

Frank’s had the keys to all my cars for more than a decade, beginning with my biturbo 6-speed at an otherwise unremarkable Audi dealership. I have shipped cars cross-country just to have him work on them, and when he opened NoName I followed him from the city to the Island because he’s *that* good.

Frank also shares his knowledge and enthusiasm of everything automotive, without pretension or ego, to anyone who comes to his shop, whether they’re master techs, gear heads, people who don’t know anything about the guts of their car, and people who just need something small done.

A bonus: when I’m at the shop I get to check out all the vintage and exotic cars other people bring in to have worked on.

I’m a former automotive professional (VW and Audi), and I wouldn’t take my cars anywhere else on the East coast. Here’s to many more years of Frank working on whatever hunk of metal I buy!

The guys at NoName Motorsports have brought my car back to life! They know Audi's.
My 2006 A4 2.0T, once a daily was stored away in the driveway for a couple years and after changing my battery the car had a bunch of issues thereafter. Fan kept running and killing my battery; so needed a relay. Before I found them, trying to even find the relay part was a mission; it couldn't be found. But Rich was so kind to go out of his way to find the part and fix the issue with the relay and rust. Felt comfortable with them and appreciated how straight and honest they were and took their skill seriously.
Anyways, It's been a couple months now and car is running smoothly! Thanks Guys! See you soon for my brakes and strut lol

The men at NoName Motorsports are the only people I trust to work on my car. I had a bad experience from another place working on my Audi that specialized on BMW's realizing afterwards it's best to go to Mechanical Engineers who are professionally trained and experienced to work with Audi's because there are very specific ways to work on them. All of the mechanics at NoName have worked as mechanical engineers for Audi and are professionally trained Master techs. These guys eat and breath Audi. Frank, Tony and Sean have done much service on my car and every time it's done right and fast because at least two of them will work on your car at one time. They have also taught me a lot of insider information about the VW/Audi brand and in what ways I can make my car last. And they always charge me a fair price. I can't recommend this place enough if you have an Audi or VW especially. Fast service at a fair price from Mechanics who know what they are doing are hard to find.
