Pooh & Friends Day Care

We love Pooh and Friends. My daughter started there at 8 months old and they have taken wonderful care of her from day one. She loves going everyday; squeals with excitement when we pull into the driveway. She has truly flourished under their care!

I am proud to have been able to bring both children to Pooh and Friends. My oldest started at 7 months an he flourished under Barbara’s care. He has excelled with his language skills as development skills.

My youngest started at 6 months and was a little bit more of a sensitive soul. She required a bit more time to get comfortable in a new environment. Barbara and the team were patient and nurturing during this transition time and now she loves going to school everyday.

I love that both kids were in a group of different aged children but still had a very individualized program.

I love that they had field trips, lots of fresh air and learning experiences.

Both children would come home happy, clean and nourished. I know they were in good hands.

Barbara and her team are friendly, accommodating, loving and caring.

My son started the Pre-K program at Pooh and Friends last year. My only regret is that I didn't start him sooner. He has blossomed so much academically, but I'm more impressed with how he has progressed emotionally. He is so much more well-rounded and he just loves all his teachers. This is a great school!!

Cannot say enough great things about Barbara and the staff of Pooh and Friends. They create a safe, caring environment for kids! My twins started there when they were 3 once I moved back to NYC and have been so well looked after. Staff takes time to work with them in groups and individually, and Barbara (rightfully) spotted that they would need Speech Therapy and helped me find a great program nearby. The genuine care, strong curriculum and attention to literacy has made this a great day care AND strong preschool for my (now 4 year old) twins. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a small close knit day care, then you’ll like Pooh & Friends. My oldest son has been attending for a little over 6 months now and I have already noticed some really great things. The teachers work with my now 20 month old everyday on his colors, alphabet, numbers, and etc. The teachers are able to give him one-on-one time and they genuinely care for my son. My son was shy and withdrawn around other children, but has improved so much since he started attending Pooh & Friends. He is speaking more, able to count, play well with others and so much more! He looks forward to going to daycare and never wants to leave because he is having so much fun.

I had looked into other daycares and even had different childcare for my son prior to Pooh & Friends. However, I chose Pooh & Friends after visiting the facility and I am so happy that I did. My husband and I have also become friends with the other parents, and have enjoyed holiday parties with the other kids and parents. Pooh & Friends is great and I am happy to say that I will soon have both of my boys in their great hands!
