If you’re looking for a perfect haircut and blowout ask for Inalvis. She takes her time to put love into every strand of hair! measuring each side perfectly it’s satisfying to watch. I always walk out feeling my absolute best.
For a super busy salon no one is in each other’s way and clients are flowing in and out comfortably. The staff is on point even when I have to book an appointment the day of Connie will always call me back with options for me. I never get forgotten about here
Salon is modern and beautiful and you’ll feel like family. Even the coffee is better than the Dunkin donuts next door so you don’t even have to make a stop!

Professional and friendly. Farah did an excellent job with my roots and coloring my hair the perfect brown that I was looking for. They also keep your hair healthy!

EDITED: R Salon generously reached out after my initial negative experience and had me come in again for a complimentary blowout with a different stylist, Farrah, who did a beautiful job. I would (and am going to) happily return now. I also really want to praise them on how professionally and respectfully they handled the situation - they truly made me feel so valued and taken care of which is so appreciated and definitely the kind of service that makes me want to return.

Booked here last minute for a blowout for a practice shoot w my wedding photographer bc I was low on time and just wanted to ensure my hair would look great without having to worry about doing it myself. I usually go into the city for my cuts and color but I figured a blowout was simple enough and any good stylist should be able to do it. Everything seemed to be going really well until the stylist started curling. I had shown a picture FROM THE SALON’s pictures on google and it was part of why I chose to go there bc I assumed they’d be capable of doing the same thing, but I guess there is a big discrepancy between stylists there. The blowout itself was fine but then she absolutely destroyed it with horrible tight curls that left me looking ridiculous. It’s the worst when you pay for something wanting it to be special and nice and then end up with something significantly worse than what you could have done yourself. She also used waaaaaay too much product so that the curls had no chance of falling and loosening up by the time I had my shoot. Picture added of what I ended up with (even after trying to loosen the curls up hours later) vs. what I had shown/asked for. (Mine is the front view, pic I showed is the back view). I honestly can’t believe an experienced stylist let me leave looking like that knowing what I asked for. Awful.

Today was my first time at this Salon and I must say the staff was phenomenal. I was a little nervous about trying a new place, but Connie made me feel at ease. She was very welcoming. Tommy, the owner, ended up cutting my hair. He listened to all of my requests and did a great job on my hair. Everyone was very attentive. Will definitely be coming back.
