Dr.Patel is an amazing doctor. I suffered from rheumatoid nodules for many years. I went from podiatrist to podiatrist without much help none would operate. I also had an unstable ankle and torn perineal tendons. He did surgery last year and the rest is history. He did a fantastic job. I walk pain free. Great man and a great doctor. I wish I knew of him years ago. Dr. Patel you rock!!!!!

Coordinating a first time new patient visit with Dr Patel went well and was pretty easy. I was surprised after making an appointment on his website, when he contacted me directly to go over my insurance and scheduling since I would normally interact with nurses or some kind of administrator.

I learned after visiting that his Flushing office has a parking spot that patients can use since parking can be tough around the area with a nearby school. The entrance is in the back of the home office with the patient parking spot along the back street wall (not right behind the house, that's where the doctor parks).

The visit took about 45-60 minutes but he was thorough in his analysis and listening to my history. He felt very personable and charismatic while also sounding very professional and knowledgeable. I'll be visiting again soon for a follow up (after I get x-rays done) and am hopeful he will be able to alleviate some of my pains and issues I've had with my feet that I haven't been able to explain.

The best thing too is that if he's right about his diagnosis, it would have been something I lived with as a child, so he will also be seeing my toddler son to confirm if hey may have the same issue so we can start treating it now instead of waiting until he's an adult.

There are plenty of adjectives I can think of to describe Dr Patel, but it all comes down to the fact that he is simply one of the best Doctors I’ve met.
My Mom was having severe pain in her heel, and having had bad experiences from doctors in the past, I'm very picky when I have to choose a Physician, especially when it’s for a loved one.
I decided to make the appointment with Dr Patel after reading the great reviews, and I’m glad I did.
My mom was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. On our first appointment she was barely walking because of the pain, Dr Patel explained her diagnosis and the treatment that will work best for her with great detail and in such a clear way. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and surely knows his stuff. He took his time, was very patient, attentive, and we never felt rushed.
I honestly didn’t feel like I was talking to a Doctor, I felt like I was talking to a friend I haven't seen in a while. Dr Patel has an awesome personality, great sense of humor! and a kind heart.
Following treatment, after a series of steroid injections, custom insoles, using the right kind of sneakers from a list he recommended (that really helped!) and exercises instructed by him, my mom is doing so much better. Honestly, it's the first time in my living years that I see her actually looking forward to her appointments.
Dr Patel is truly a rare diamond among Doctors, and I’m so thankful to have found him.

My son was suffering with severe flat foot. I researched doctors that specialize in his condition and found Dr. Rahul Patel. From the first visit he explained everything in detail and was knowledgeable with my sons condition. Although we tried preventive measures with the inner soles to correct this condition for three months he was still experiencing severe pain. Dr. Patel decided on reconstructive surgery of flat foot for his condition. My son has healed and is no longer in pain thanks to Dr.Patel. He is an amazing , knowledgeable and outstanding surgeon which I could recommend to any parent. He’s been there for my son through out this entire procedure. Thank you so much for helping my son.

Dr. Patel was recommended by a friend, and I could not have been more satisfied to have him as a podiatrist. He performed a Lapidus bunionectomy on me earlier this year. Dr. Patel thoroughly explained about the procedure, the recovery period, and what to expect. The first few weeks of recovery was uncomfortable but with his encouragements the recovery went smoothly. If I were to get a second opinion, I would have gone back to Dr. Patel. He is professional, friendly, great to talk to, and a great educator. He takes his time with each one of his patients making sure all questions were answered and you don’t feel rushed. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.
