River Bicycles

My son had his heart set on a particularly difficult bike to find. Lucky for us River had one left in stock. I was able to make the purchase over a call within a few minutes. Best part-they were willing to hand deliver the bike to Manhattan for us. The Bike arrived early this morning in perfect condition as promised. Big thanks to John from River for making this so easy & also making my 13 year old super happy!

Best bike shop ever! I had a fantastic experience buying my kids SE bike here. I first called and spoke to Frank the owner who was very patient and super friendly on the phone.
John greeted me and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked into the store. He took the time to answer all my questions and was never pushy or made me feel rushed. I initially planned to only purchase one bike but ended up purchasing two great bikes. John went above and beyond by driving me home with the bikes and showing my kids how to maintain them. Highly recommend! These guys are unfailingly helpful and friendly. Thanks again, my boys were beyond happy. This is my new bike shop; all the way from Milford!😊

Bought a bike there in 2021 the service was great and the staff will go above and beyond to get what you like.
Absolute 2.1 was the purchase and they customized it as well. Went back and got one kids bike for my daughter as well.
We love them.

I had such a great experience at this store. I came in looking for a used bike and John took the time to help me find the right one. He made sure I knew how to take the wheel off and put it on, taught me how to fit the bike in my car, ect. I will definitely be back in the future.

Frank is a great mechanic who charges fairly and always makes sure that the job is done right. He doesn't try to up sell customers but focuses on giving great value and service. I'm an avid rider who has purchased bikes and a number of equipment upgrades from him and have never been disappointed. 12/12/20 Update- If I could give Frank more than 5 stars I would. I recently had my frame and fork refinished by the manufacturer. Frank handled the dismantling of my bike and shipping out to the manufacturer. While it was there he went over all components replaced and serviced everything and when the frame came pack, had it all put back together, thoroughly checked over and ready for me in 1-1/2 days! He is a perfectionist who makes sure everything is done perfectly.
