Seafood Grill On The Bay

Great food & friendly atmosphere. We were a party of 9 dining out for my birthday. The appetizers were perfect, drinks were great, main course was delicious. All menu items were reasonable priced. Everything lived up to expectations.

We did have some issues with the service, but they were promptly taken care of by the manager. The manager had the staff make me a giant desert platter with fresh fruit that had flaming 151 liquor poured over it. Definitely a great surprise.

The wait staff seemed very quick to try and take away the appetizer plates when we were still eating, which was a little bothersome. No one wants to feel rushed when they're eating. There seemed to be an engagement party going on, but the staff did a great job of attending to both parties.

Complaints in other reviews about the loud music were not accurate. I thought the volume was fine. Complaints about the credit card service fees were accurate. They claim it's written on the menu, but it's not indicated on the bill. We only noticed when people got alerts for the charge amount on their credit cards. Cash or 1 card would've been preferred. Seems shady & unnecessary. Know before you go.

What a delightful place to have dinner. Went here for a birthday dinner party and had a wonderful time. The birthday girl also had a great time.

The food was reported to be good, and my steak was broiled just right.

The atmosphere was nice. It wasn't overly decorated, though. I wasn't able to see the view of the bay due to it being nighttime, but there appears to be an outdoor dining space. Also, bachata and salsa was playing all the while we were there, which made it extra lively.

Seafood Grill On The Bay is a block off of Nautical Mile and is adjacent to Freeport Yacht Club.

Service was good, the food was delicious, the ginger ale was flat so I ordered a cranberry juice and a friend of mine ordered a lemonade instead. The margaritas here are delicious as well. We had the antipasto, clams, stuffed lobster & chicken parm all these dishes were great!
