(September 30, 2021, 5:58 pm)Best recording studio/ rehearsal space in Brooklyn. The rooms are clean, equipped and everything sounds great. Steve is incredibly accommodating and helpful. Nearby parking is easy and everything is ground floor so there’s no lugging equipment all over a massive building. No question best value space in Brooklyn.

(September 9, 2021, 4:39 pm)Sound Haven is hands down the best studio rehearsal space I've been to. Owner/operator Steve designed and curated the perfect spot in south Brooklyn for any musician to feel at home--two well-insulated, spacious, and fully outfitted rooms with tons of high-quality equipment to use (drums, mics, PA system with live mixing board, classic amps, etc) at an unbelievably reasonable rate. We used the "Red Room" to record an ep over the course of a couple days and it was a dream. Didn't have any problems with background noise because the rooms are so well sound-proofed and the A/C is basically silent (a HUGE plus to be able to stay comfortable since we were in there for hours).
If that wasn't enough, Steve (the GOAT) himself was around most of the day checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed from mic stands to water bottles. It was awesome and honestly inspiring getting to talk to him about this passion project of his, how he's been able to successfully start and maintain a new business in a super difficult time, and how this is the studio he always wished he had growing up.
Stoked to meet a guy like Steve who loves music and built a space for others to enjoy it too.
