(April 17, 2023, 11:20 am)I went yesterday, circling around the store because it is so colorful, beautiful, full of detail and treasure. I had to buy a necklace that gave me an instant feeling of joy and protection. An immaterial (but large!) gift of kindness and understanding came from a long conversation with the owner of the shop, whose name I don't want to misspell. Today, I wore my necklace to class and a few people have complimented, some of them insisting to know where the shop is.. and this is why I had to get on Google maps!! Go to Tafari, it's a special place.

(January 13, 2022, 2:45 pm)Wonderful Black Owned Business with beautiful clothes and wares. It’s an amazing store with a lot of cool and quality finds. When you enter you can smell the incense and sage cleansing the atmosphere. You can tell right away that everything is selected with the utmost care and made from the highest quality. The fabrics for the clothes and head wraps too is unmatched! Really great stuff.
It’s a wonderful gem for the neighborhood and where I personally shop for a lot of unique gifts for my own “tribe” . The owner is really kind and warm as well as the employees. Every time we go we’re greeted with a smile, warm welcoming, and an authentic encounter. They care about the customer and your experience and hope to enrich it by their expertise and products. I always feel great shopping here. It’s worth the trip from any area in the Tristate as there is no other shop like it! Come in and catch a great vibe!
