Carole is not just a piano teacher. She is interested in the total whole being of her students. My daughter has been doing her piano lessons with Carole from when she could barely reach the piano pedals up to this time when she is already touring colleges. My daughter’s growing love for piano and music is mostly because of Carole. She is very knowledgeable, patient, & very engaging. I thought my daughter would give up piano lessons as her academic life became hectic. Instead, she always looks forward to her sessions with Carole. It breaks the monotony of her routine, relaxes her, & gives her joy. She did not only learn how to play the piano, but she discovered a love for learning and music. My daughter’s life has been enriched and blessed by Carole’s teachings, both about piano and life itself, and the experience has been truly life-changing.

Carole is an absolutely wonderful piano teacher! I’ve been taking lessons with her as an adult student for almost three years, first in person, and then online, through Facetime. I had taken lessons for a couple of years as a child in NYC a long time ago, but since I hadn’t touched a piano for many decades, I had forgotten everything and wanted to start over as a complete beginner. Lo and behold, I’m now fairly confidently tackling intermediate-level pieces.

Carole has been the perfect, serendipitous find for me. She’s a highly intelligent, knowledgeable, and patient professional and her relaxed demeanor makes our lessons a delight. She has guided me to become a quite competent sight-reader and she provides careful analysis of gestures, phrasing, and expression while also addressing theory. She reviews practice techniques in detail, which I find so helpful.

Carole’s love of music always shines through and her enthusiasm is contagious. I always look forward to our weekly lessons and now even enjoy practicing. I’m pretty sure that if my own children, now grown, had taken piano lessons with Carole, they, too, would have found her outstanding, engaging, and relatable and would still be playing piano today.

Carole is a phenomenal piano teacher that I had the honor of being a student of. I was a student of Carole for many years: from most of my childhood until I was ready to leave for college. She is an amazing teacher and person: super attentive to detail, patient, and very enthusiastic and passionate about teaching her students piano. She truly made piano fun and exciting every lesson! You cannot go wrong with taking yourself or your child to her piano lessons! Highly recommended!

Beautiful, spacious home studio with 3 pianos, educational games, and fun gadgets. I like that our son is actually taught to read music rather than just memorize it. The teacher is professional, engaging, really patient, and makes lessons creative and fun.
