The Ivy School

The Ivy school is amazing! My daughter transitioning to this school was one of the best decisions I’v made for her and I only have great things to say. Although she grew out of the Ivy School, I’ve felt so comfortable and at ease with taking my daughter here. It’s a lovely place. It is sparkling clean and tidy at all times of the day. I never worried so much about her getting sick like I used to at the previous daycare. My daughter was always looking forward to going to school in the morning, all she talked about was school and how much fun she had. The academic program is great! The Ivy school integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values and builds leadership through each of their classes and lessons. The teachers are a great encouragement. They are super nice, caring, engaging, lively & energetic. The teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They also know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner. The school provides a safe, loving and secure environment. Furthermore, which is one my favorites, they use an app that provides updates everyday, throughout the day with pictures, videos and reports. Needless to say, I definitely recommend The Ivy School to anyone without hesitation. My daughter and I will always be grateful to this wonderful school!

I don’t typically write reviews but my family has been so blown away by The Ivy School that I had to share our experience. We found the Ivy School after having a horrific experience at another daycare and honestly didn’t know to expect. These fears vanished when Ms. Vida opened the door to welcome us with a big smile and warm personality. She makes you just want to hug and exudes TLC which my 2 year old son loves. The school is impeccably clean and in the one month that my son has been attending, he hasn’t been sick once. At his last daycare, he was perpetually sick for 4 months. The director, Ms. Vida is extremely accommodating-the schools hours were a bit shorter than what we needed and she introduced extended hours for a fee which is much more affordable than paying a babysitter to watch him for a couple hours. He wakes up every morning excited to go school and see his friends. He’s also learning more here than he ever has before. He’s only 2 years old and the other night he was telling me about pentagons and diamonds while dropping in some of the Spanish he’s been learning. I’m so impressed by the curriculum and the quality of every single teacher. It’s clear, that the children’s education is a top priority for them as well. They’re patient, understanding, loving and I feel as though I left my son with family. I also love their conflict resolution approach. My son is high energy, loves to push the boundaries and is still going through his “mine mine mine” phase but they’re able to gently course correct him when he’s misbehaving and are sensitive to the fact that he’s still a 2 year old and sharing at this age isn’t exactly common sense. They’re willing to meet your child where he/she is and help them comprehend their behavior. I could go on and on about the school, the staff and the director but honestly, there’s nothing like the real thing so you need to book a tour and see for yourself!

My daughter was 3 years old when she started at The Ivy School. Before then she had a nanny and I was concerned about her transition into preschool. It took a while for me to find a place where I knew she would be comfortable. All of the staff and lead teacher at The Ivy School were supportive throughout her transition and now she wakes up and asks to go to her school. Attending preschool was a transition for both of us. I receive daily updates that include videos and pictures, which help me feel like I’m in touch with her all day. Through the updates I also know what she’s working on daily and weekly, so that I can continue practicing concepts at home. The school is very clean and I do not deal with the nightmare of her being sick because of school. I highly recommend The Ivy School to any parent looking for a preschool or childcare for their children.

This school is amazing! My son enrolled here when the school first opened and he has thrived under their tutelage. Every morning, he cannot wait to get to school! All of his teachers and aides are all very kind, considerate and involved in his success every day. The school building itself is very nicely appointed. During the open house and parent tour, all the safety protocols where pointed out and explained. They are also very organized, incredibly clean and health conscious. I do not have to worry about my son constantly getting sick every time he goes as they do a child wellness check every morning before he joins his class. Additionally, they partner with an amazing app to provide updates throughout the day, with pictures (my favorite part) and a comprehensive report at the end of the day. As a single, working mother, I truly appreciate their flexibility with meetings and special events, like their Winter Pageant, which I would not have wanted to miss for the world! I am absolutely positive that my child is getting the very best start to his education that I could ever hope for!
