We were very happy with the value that we received for our trade-in piano. The Yamaha we bought was also top quality and reasonably priced. What an amazing, pleasant & rewarding experience it was to purchase my baby grand piano from Pianotek. Got this gorgeous K. Kawai baby grand in excellent condition, inside & out, with a BEAUTIFUL, mellow tone. I’m a piano tuner/technician in training so can speak to the excellence in workmanship, skill and knowledge behind the reconditioning & rebuilding of their pianos. I recently purchased a Kawai RX-1 from Pianotek after several months of searching for a piano in the central/north New Jersey area. I was fortunate to discover Pianotek and my review of their inventory showed that a 2009 RX-1 was currently available in their inventory for purchase. Upon locating the RX-1 the Pianotek website, I contacted Dennis to discuss the features and details of the piano. From the outset it was evident that Dennis was clearly very knowledgeable about the features and specifications of this piano, and through course of time of this purchase, discovered that Dennis is technically knowledgeable with the wide variety of pianos that he services and sells.
From my first contact, Dennis, was extremely helpful throughout the entire purchase process, which initially included the history of the piano and a description of his step-by-step process to prepare the piano for delivery. During the course of the piano preparation, Dennis made numerous telephone calls and forwarded several email with progress updates, and answered all of our questions demonstrating his exceptional technical knowledge and expertise. As part of the piano preparation process, Dennis spent considerable time and effort to ensure the Life Saver system that was installed by the previous owner was thoroughly checked and fully operational prior to delivery. In addition, Dennis explained in detail the periodic actions necessary to maintain the Life save System, to include identifying the replacement maintenance items to ensure flawless and reliable operation. Come the day of piano delivery, I was very satisfied with the level of professionalism and care that Bate Brothers Movers took moving and setting-up the piano.

Following delivery, Dennis called to ensure there were no issues with the piano delivery, and arranged for a piano technician to conduct the first tuning following delivery. The RX-1 sounds and looks outstanding due to care and attention to detail of Dennis and his staff. We also appreciate the 10-year warranty that Pianotek provides on the RX-1 piano action.

It is clearly evident that Dennis is passionate in his goal to provide his customers with a superior quality piano at a very reasonable price. We could not be happier with our piano purchase! It was a pleasure doing business with Pianotek and strongly recommend anyone in the market for a piano to make their purchase from Pianotek.

We purchased a Kohler and Campbell piano used from Dennis 20 years ago. The support doesn’t end at the sale. It still sounds great after 20 years, he didn’t steer us wrong. You can tell he is passionate and caring about every piano he sells and services. He is very patient when he comes to tune it. Even when we let the tuning lapse, he takes the time to put it back right, and even gives me tips on how to tweak it in between tunings. Great guy, great service. No one else touches this piano!
