Bird feeding sections and the water area are full of life, trees, flowers and Birds. Bring something to see them and catch photos. Check on line for schedule season and s hiked events. Be aware it is not the easiest place for people handicapped though there are some actions of availability. A nice place to take the family. -

(November 2, 2022, 2:52 pm)A beautiful fall afternoon with colorful trees and birds. This is a fairly small place, but it's very quiet and a lovely place for a leisurely walk. The fountain is also attractive and there are nearby benches to watch the birds or just read. My wife and I had a great time.

(January 22, 2019, 7:23 pm)A great Audubon sanctuary for birds,Learn, see and understand about nature, A wonderful experience for children. Take a peaceful walk and see birds and unplug. There is building that holds a lot of nature related stuff.nearby. . It is also the first National Audubon bird sanctuary. Plenty of parking in the nearby parking lot. The location is not easily seen from the main road, parking is located at the cemetery where the gravesite of Theodore Roosevelt is. If visit today the whole Sanctuary has been reconstructed and is even more fun and more beautiful. I believe it’s closed now for compleat and brand new design renovation possibly open Spring or Summer 2019
