Bayley Beach

I like everything in this place!!..

Got to go swimming today! Found a tennis ball in the water as well. This beach was very clean and there were a few other dogs I got to sniff and hang out with.

There was a grumpy old man swimming with a yellow buoy who threatened to "do something" since I was off leash and swimming. But Dad told him to eat rocks. My dad is cool like that.

I'll probably go back and bring some friends with me. :)

Bayley Beach is located in Rowayton and is a part of Norwalk 6th taxing district. It is smaller than the other Norwalk beaches and is open to residence of Rowayton who have their Beach stickers. Non-residents can enjoy the beach for a fee of $25 at the gate. The pavilion is a wonderful place for parties and can be rented for various activities. The beach closes at 9 p.m. during the summer hours and no dogs are allowed on the beach property during the summer months. It is kept very clean and is extremely welcoming, there is even a small area located under the pavilion stocked with books if you would like to do some light reading in one of their many lounge chairs. You are allowed to cook at this beach but only in a designated area on beach supplied outdoor grills which utilizes charcoal. there is plenty of parking considering the size of the beach, tennis courts, a baseball field, and on some nights there is even live music.

Exceptionally clean and clear water.. dog friendly-off leash dog park.. only in winter's though.. very friendly people and dogs.. lov to bring fur baby here.. 😘 wish they had one such park.. on Long island..
