Beautiful beach right by the parking lot. Great for the sledges in the winter too. No food vendors. More wind in general than at cove island. Beautiful boardwalk.

Went for fireworks. Getting there early was good for parking but boring 4 kids.

The calming quiet during the mornings makes it a good place for a stroll, walk, run.
Early afternoon into evenings is totally a different place, more a hangout place for locals.

Very clean. Restrooms in front center of beach. We went and fished off the fishing pier. First cast we both caught fish(cast end of rocks). Sea robin and some kind of mackerel. Caught 7 total in 2 hours. Fun time. Alot of people walking exercising. Plenty of trash cans. Picnic tables with people enjoying lunch.

Nice beach, however, when did they knock down the snack bar? After May 1st you will need to be resident with a beach pass.
