My kid has attended the swim & dance classes here for over a year. The staff have been great thus far. Always professional & respectful. The dance instructors are patient & make the classes fun and exciting. The swim instructors are energetic, encouraging and very engaging with the kids. The new director is impressive. You can see he has a genuine interest in making things better. He has presented new ideas that I believe will help improve the program.
On the flip side I can see the facility has seen better days. The building could use a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint as a quick fix. However I do hope in the near future they either renovate the building and or fix the much needed repairs and update the antiquated paper system.

My family loves the Bronx House. They have a new swimming director who is wonderful with the kids. All the teachers we have had have been great here. The performing arts program is top notch. My kids have taken many dance and music classes and all have been excellent teachers. My husband and I recently started taking private music classes as well. The Bronx House is the best!

Overall solid gym, I come here 3-4 times a week to train. Gym has everything you need and is never crowded. Friendly atmosphere and staff, as-well as personal trainers like Jonathan who are all well versed in fitness. 👍

Such a hidden treasure!! I decided to sign my dad up for the adult center program as I saw online they had programs he could benefit from (cardio fitness, stretching, computer classes etc…).

As he was giving me resistance to go (lol) I decided to go with him for encouragement but to also check and make sure it was a clean and safe environment. To my surprise it was a wonderful experience so far! I joined in on the fitness class with Chris in the morning. The next day my dad asked me “so are we going again?” 😂 clearly they made him a believer.

The next day was just as good with stretching for arthritis with Terry. Brittany Hampton (assistant director of the Adult Center pictured in blue) is WONDERFUL! Very pleasant and answered all my questions.

To top it all off…Botanical Gardens donated orchids and they offered it to members for FREE! I’m not sure of the other programs offered but it’s an amazing space for the elderly to enjoy.
