Margo Seibert Vocal Studio

Margo is a master of her craft. I had been a fan of hers for years, but decided I wanted to work with her when I really wanted to get in touch with my authentic voice. What's spectacular about her in both her performing and her teaching is that she can entirely transform and always sound like herself. I wanted a piece of that. Our work together was everything I want an artistic process to be: gentle, exploratory, and personal. I always felt like Margo was meeting me where I was while guiding me to a place of more freedom. I can say so many good things about working with Margo, but perhaps my favorite thing about her is she does not gate-keep. Whatever resources she has, she shares. Her knowledge is yours. She is truly in her students' corners.

Margo is incredible to work with and learn from! I went into lessons with the desire to improve the quality of my self-tapes and feel more confident in the process of submitting online auditions. In our hour-long voice lessons, Margo was engaging and helped me find confidence in my warm-up process. In my final self-tape session, Margo was there (remotely) to help every step of the way! At the end of my time with her, I had two polished self-tapes and newfound confidence in the filming process. Margo is a kind and supportive teacher, and I learned so much from her!

Margo is an absolute incredible teacher and mentor. Going into working with her, I wanted to hone in on my self-tape skills as well as audition technique.

Margo helped me find ways to showcase my true self even more over self-tapes which included ways to create a perfect self-tape set up. Aside from having so much knowledge about the current theater industry, Margo is incredibly gifted in teaching technique. I learned so much from her and her style of teaching really resonated with me.

The songs Margo helped me choose to work on during our sessions were all unique choices and none of them were on the "Do Not Sing" list that so many performers talk about when trying to pick audition materials.

I got everything I expected out of working with Margo and more! I did her self-tape workshop and am going to continue to do voice lessons with her. I am so lucky to have gained Margo as both a coach and a mentor. She is incredible and worth every penny!

I went into coaching with Margo feeling stuck in my own process. I had spent so long singing a certain way because I felt like I had to that I had forgotten why I started singing to begin with.

Lessons with Margo quickly changed all that!! Margo is an incredible coach and teacher. She creates a nurturing environment over zoom where you can let go of the need to be perfect, and instead focus on just being.

From the first lesson I started to reconnect with how it felt to use my voice without obsessing over every little sound, and why I started singing to begin with- because it felt good! And that has changed everything in my practice for the better.

Whether in person or remote- Margo has the uncanny ability to make you feel deeply cared for and supported while she guides you through vocal exercises that strengthen and uplift your voice. She is a warm and engaging teacher, allowing me to be my most vulnerable and open self, which let the work shine, and feel free and comfortable in my body. I've already learned so much and can't wait to keep growing as a student under Margos teaching.
