That being said, try Orchard Street Vintage Stores, new and deadstock, really good in store markdowns, Desert Vintage and Pilgrim are beautiful, Lara Koleiji is hit or miss but great prices. -

She offers shipping for her out of state customers. Katie has in depth knowledge of vintage eras and locations from which her items are sourced. Love this shop!

There are very few vintage stores left in the East Village that I shop at, and Katie has a wonderful range of uniquely tailored dresses. I would highly recommend both to New York locals and those passing through.
