(August 5, 2021, 5:57 pm)This place will be a great addition to Oyster Bay in the future. Needs A lot more funds to complete but they will get there. If you want to see the work and the plans go to their website or stop and see the restoration process in person. Back in the day President Theodore Roosevelt got the train here., when he was at Sagamore Hill the Summer White House, when completed the Station will Highlight President Theodore Roosevelt’s connection to it. I am sure it will draw Train enthusiasts from all around when completed. I was here on 8/3/2021 and found out the museum has moved here it is open on the weekends The place is a beautiful historic landmark and the building looks fully restored and ready for tourists and townspeople.

(July 17, 2016, 2:42 pm)This is museum was a wonderful surprise in the town if oyster bay! The owners are extremely friendly and are happy to give a tour of the museum. This museum is especially kid friendly, because children can go right up to the train and fiddle with the controls! There is also a turn table for the trains! I wish we would have taken advantage of the LIRR Day pass. Next time...
We will be coming back!
