Sergey's Barber Shop

For every neighborhood I have ever lived in, when I need a haircut, I would only look for old fashioned no frill barbershops. Gradually such a desire has become less and less easy to satisfy. It is not due to a lack of a place to have hair done. Rather being old fashioned seems to go out of fashion. I am grateful that I have Sergey's in my vicinity. Sergey’s mission is to make my hair presentable with a business cut, which is the most I am looking for in a barbershop. Sergey’s never fails to deliver.

Sergey is the best barber in Forest Hills hands down! Gives clean cuts— asks, listens, and delivers exactly what you’re looking for (and once you’re a repeat customer he knows what you want before you even sit down). Reasonably priced and super friendly as well. An institution of Forest Hills small local businesses— always great to support a place that has been in the neighborhood for years.

Hands down, Sergey is the best barber in town! I love the way he does my fade. He is very skilled and also genuinely a really nice person. I would highly recommend this place!

I have been coming to Sergey's since I was a small child. All the barbers are incredibly professional and kind. They're knowledgeable about different hair and face types and will make you look your best. I've gotten many different styles here over the years from completely shaved to full on top w/ a fade and everything in between. I wanted to leave this review because after I moved I've really been struggling to find a good neighborhood barber like this that knows how to do curly hair. But every place I try cuts my hair like a thug or a hipster. The trip back to Sergey's is worth it!

I've struggled to find barbers my whole life due to very fine, light hair that can prove difficult to cut. The people at Sergey's do a great job, though, and I'm fortunate to live nearby. I've tried basically everywhere in the neighborhood, but this place is the best for me.

In addition, everyone here is really friendly, and they're great members of the local community.

The back and shoulder massage at the end of every cut is also a huge bonus - try going the day after a tough workout and you won't regret it.
