He improved my surfing so much just in one morning and I caught the most waves ever!! He gave a lot of great feedback while remaining encouraging. All around a great coach and person!

(June 15, 2023, 6:45 pm)I’ve been searching for a long time where I could surf in New York and found Sierra surf school. Signed up with my friend and were satisfied with the lesson. David (instructor) explained very clearly and simply that we could stand on the board and catch the wave in the first lesson! We are so happy and excited that after a couple of weeks we’ll come back again. Can’t wait!

(May 20, 2021, 6:09 pm)Dave is the man! Very professional, knowledgeable, supportive and an excellent teacher. Also offers great deals for beginners and surf spots. Highly recommend Sierra-it's a great deal and you won't regret it! More importantly, you will have an amazing time out in the water!

(September 28, 2020, 7:52 pm)We drove all the way from Huntignton Long Island and ended up staying half the day with Dave and Iwona. Dave, the instructor, was very informative and we had a lot of fun in the water. I was actually able to get up on the board many times. Planning to go back next week for another lesson. I highly recommend taking surfing lesson with Dave!!!
