I was delighted to be surprised by a birthday dinner here! It was truly a first class experience. The front bar is cozy and you'll be well catered to like VIPs. The food was spectacular and the main dining room was lovely. The wait staff took great care of us and I look forward to going back.

Fantastic food, impeccable service and timeless historic atmosphere. By far one of the premier restaurants in Connecticut or anywhere for that matter.

Yup, it's unquestionably a 5+ star restaurant. The welcome, the decor, the food and the service are all outstanding. You'll enjoy valet parking without the need of a ticket, a beautiful table, amuse bouche, beautifully plated dishes and delicious petit fours. The service is efficient and without being overbearing. And the food is simply outstanding, carefully prepared and generous. You will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful restaurant! From the moment you arrive you are made to feel beyond welcomed. Staff attentive and friendly. We sat on the sunlit porch overlooking the garden. The dining room patrons were dressed well and snazzy. The food was impressive. I had a pastry wrapped lobster appetizer that was excellent. The prime sirloin was tasty although my request for med rare plus became medium upon serving. A small faux pas when perfection was abound. Fun! Friendly! Delicious!

Always the best prepared, plated, presented and delicious treats! I have gone here for 15 years and absolutely love it... the staff is delightful and the grounds are beautifully designed. The tables are intimate and surrounded by elegance. You will have your expectations exceeded each time.
