I started practicing with Mark about 6 months ago at his former studio, North Shore Yoga, in Roslyn. I have tried many different yoga studios in the area and I have to say that I felt immediately comfortable and at home when I found North Shore Yoga. There are all levels of yogis practicing together, which I appreciate since I consider myself more of a beginner. But I love that Mark gently pushes everyone at every level to explore different poses and to challenge themselves whenever possible.
The new Yoga Cove studio at the Glen Cove Mansion is fantastic. Beautiful setting, and very tranquil. The schedule is very convenient, offering many morning and evening classes daily. The price is very reasonable, a great value, especially the unlimited package.

Yoga Cove is a great addition to the community in Glen Cove. Mark runs a good program that is fair priced, simple schedule, easy to sign up, various class offerings with exceptional teachers. I feel the full offering of the studio is perfect for any student of any level and suggest everyone to give it a try.
I became a student of Mark in the summer of 2018 when he used to hold yoga classes on the North Shore beach. Sometimes he even organized hikes. I'd say that's not what you find in a traditional yoga studio but what better way to appreciate and honor your body AND nature at the same time? It was just what I needed at the time being new to Long Island. He was very encouraging and made me realize I can do more with my practice.
When the days got colder I decided to commit more and started going to his studio where I found a variety of classes. I thoroughly enjoy his open level classes which are always different and then the Sunday Ashtanga class which is always the same series of movements/poses. That one serves me as a diagnostic to check how I'm doing overtime because the asanas are the same every time, which makes me memorize them better and also observe how my body adopts over time to each movement and pose.
I am immensely grateful to Mark and his commitment to make yoga accessible, fun and affordable to all. 100 stars.
